After you get certain essences the Great Maku Tree will grow and grow, eventually yielding a Gasha Seed, and several other items. Also, Farore the Oracle of Secrets waits inside.

• After getting the Gift of Time, a hole will open up in the Maku Tree and you can enter and meet Farore, the Oracle of Secrets.
• After getting the Soothing Rain, you can go up two sets of stairs and onto a balcony of sorts.
• After getting the Blowing Wind another Balcony will appear with a vine leading to it.
• After getting the Nurturing Warmth, a middle branch will apear with a Gasha Seed. Retrieve the Nuturing Fire to make a branch with a Gasha Seed appear below the higher branch of the Maku Tree.
