Return to Horon Village and go to the area right before the Maku Tree, where the gates were. Use the Ember Seed on the saplings to the right, but before you do, Sokra the Prophet will tell you some useless stuff about the Spirits of the Seasons. Burn the saplings and proceed.

Head up (past the windmill, remember this place) two times, then right. A Subrosian will run across the screen. Head up and follow her. The trick is to use the trees to hide from her view. Be careful at the northernmost screen because after she leaves the screen she'll run back to double check that you're not following. Stay hidden until she double checks, then follow. If she sees you run back to where you first saw her and start again. If you make it to the end, cut the bush she dissapears in and go into Subrosia.

First things first, we dance. Head immediately down (with the lower left path), left, and down and go down the stairs. Talk to the Red Subrosian and play the Dance Game. All you need to do is follow the moves the red guy does. Right is right, left is left, A is pose. Not to hard, just concentrate. When you win you'll get the Boomerang!

Now return to the portal (but don't use it) and use the lower right path to go down, down, right, down, right three times, and up into the Temple of Seasons. Go into the middle tower to recieve the Rod of Seasons! Now, go to the lower right tower and use the Boomerang on the Crystal Switch. Proceed until you reach the Winter Spirit, to get your Boomerang charged with the Winter Power. Now, return to the stump right before the entrance to Subrosia (Sokra will be there). Use the Rod on the stump and cross the lake. Go up until you hit the cliff, and go right twice and use the Rod on the sump. Go up the stairs and right to jump onto the snow around the house. Pull and Santa and jump down the chimney. Holly will be there and she'll give the shovel so you can dig out the small snow deposits.

Now, go down twice and left once and use the Rod on the stump. Go left, up (using the upper right path) and then right (by digging through the snow). Use your sword on the tree and get the Mystery Seeds. Mystery Seeds can be used on Owl Statues for them to give advice to you. Now, go up, use the Rod to freeze the water. Inside thenewly opened cave is among other things a fairy for heaing. Go left and enter the Snake Remains Dungeon.
