Grab a bomb flower nearby in the cavern, and toss it at that door that looks like it can be broken. Get the map from the room then go to the room on the right side of the lava pit. Blow up the two walls. One will have a gossip stone one will not. Go in the one with the baby dodongos. Kill them .use one of them to help explode the breakable wall. Get out your slingshot in the next room, and kill the keese. Kill the Gold Skulltula and get the token he gives you. Exit the room. At the end of the hall there should be a switch. drag a armos onto the switch to open the door. Kill all the keeses in the room you are in with your slingshot again. You will now be in a room with fire floors and hexagonal platforms. Two Lizalfos will be in the room. Z-Target one of them when you get close enough, and the other will leave you alone. Kill them both to open the door. 

Go to the next room and blow up the door to your right, and kill the Deku Scrub. He'll sell you Deku Sticks, if you need some get them because you'll need them. You will now enter a room Dodongos. UN-equip your deku shield because the will set it on fire. Hit their tails with your sword until they are all dead. Now go find the torch that's lit, and light a deku stick, walk around and light all the other torches. The new door will now open. Now go to the room across the lava pit and you will be in a room with a big set of stairs, but link cannot reach the steps Go and grab a bomb from the flower. Throw it at the base of the stairs, right in the open space between the two long rows of Bomb Flowers. The explosion causes the stairs to lower, go up them Go into the next room, and you will see a platform in the middle surrounded by statues with a switch on it. 

Kill the Fire Keeses first, so they wont bother you (and remember UN-equip your shield because they will set it on fire) Now go to the statue that is blocking the ladder to the top of the platform, push him out of the way. Now press the switch and go into the next room. You will see a bridge, run across it and you'll be able to jump the hole in the middle. There will be a room now with a ton of patrolling spikes, listen to Navi carefully, and make your way to the other end of the room with the gray block and the ladder above it. Pull the block out of the wall until it cannot move anymore. 

Go up to the platform with the chest and the bomb flower. go ahead, opening treasure chests. Now, stand behind the bomb flower, and face the big door on the wall that has to be blown up. Now, the trick is to pick up the bomb flower, and right when it's about to explode, throw it at the door. This will take a little Trial and Error, but you gotta do it. Once you blow up the door, move the block back into the wall half way, and then climb the block and climb up the ladder, go into the opening. In the next room to put out the fire shoot the golden eye with your sling shot, and make your way to the next room. 

Watch out for Baby Dodongo's you remember what they do. Go into the next room with some more Lizalfos, kill them of course. The next room has two platforms with fire circles on them. Shoot the eye across the room, jump to the next platform, and look to your left. Shoot that golden eye, and continue your way to the next platform. You'll now get a bomb bag, and you can now hold your own bombs, without using the flowers. Keep going, and hit the switch that's in front of you. Go right, and now you'll be on another bridge. Just walk to the very edge of the first part of the bridge, and drop a bomb from your bomb bag into the big dodongos eye. Jump across to the next section of the bridge, and do it again. Now, his mouth will open! Jump down, and go into it, don't worry about the Eye laser, he won't get you if you're quick about it. Enter the door inside the mouth. There will now be a switch in the middle of the room. You'll have to get that big block on the elevated platform to go into the hole. Follow the path to your right. Make your way through the little maze, until you get to the block, push it to the ground. 

Now jump down, and pull the block till you can get behind it. Then push it on the switch in the hole. Now make sure your slingshot is equipped, cause there will be fire keeses. The locked door should now be open, go into it. In the middle of the room, there should be an elevated little platform, blow it up. Jump down the hole, and you'll be facing the King Dodongo. He's pretty easy to fight. When he opens his mouth and is about to breath a ball of fire at you, throw a bomb in his mouth. He'll eat it and it will explode inside him.
